About John A. Clark
John joined Goodman & Clark in Arlington, TX, in 1989 and practiced alongside attorney Toby R. Goodman for approximately 25 years. Following Mr. Goodman's death, John continued the firm until May 2025, then brought that legacy to Harris Cook Law's Family Law Division as Of Counsel. He earned his Juris Doctor with honors from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1983 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year, with admission to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas following in 1984.
At Harris Cook Law, John works alongside David Cook, Donna Smiedt, Stefan Brumley, and Olivia Sheppard as the team's senior trial veteran, strengthening the firm's representation of clients throughout Arlington, Mansfield, Southlake, and the surrounding North Texas communities.
